Application is not made directly to the Studienkolleg, but through the International Office of the respective university.

- May 15 to July 15 for following Winter Semester
- Entrance Examination:
- Invitation after pre-selection
- Online examination in mathematics (1 hour) + online examination in German (40 minutes)

- IMPORTANT Bring preliminary acceptance from KIT or University of Stuttgart!

Entrance Examination
The Studienkolleg entrance examination consists of an online German test (40 minutes) and an online mathematics test (60 minutes).
The German test assesses your language skills and is conducted as a cloze test.
The mathematics test covers material up to and including 11th grade. Sample tasks can be found here.
The entrance test can be repeated once if not passed.
Accommodation and Living Expenses
- Accommodation: Student Services Karlsruhe offers dormitories from 250 €/month.
- Semester ticket: Included in semester fee.
- Cost of living: Minimum 850 €/month (incl. rent, health insurance).
